Abstract

Character education is a fundamental aspect of early childhood development because it shapes children's personality, behavior, and moral values from an early age. In Islamic education, character formation is directed toward developing noble character (akhlaq al-karimah) based on the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah. This study aims to analyze the strategies of Islamic value internalization employed in Quranic Learning Centers (Rumah Qur’an) and their contribution to early childhood character development. This research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from books, scientific journals, research articles, and other relevant academic sources published within the last eight years. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis to identify patterns and strategies related to the internalization of Islamic values in early childhood education. The findings indicate that the internalization of Islamic values in Quranic Learning Centers is implemented through several key strategies, including exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah), habituation of Islamic practices, storytelling and moral advice, the establishment of a religious learning environment, and collaboration between educational institutions and parents. These strategies effectively foster religious character, discipline, responsibility, politeness, empathy, and independence among children. The study concludes that Quranic Learning Centers play a significant role in strengthening Islamic character education and can serve as an effective alternative for character development amid contemporary moral and technological challenges.
